Abstract: On November 16, 2015, the State Duma hosted a round table discussion on “The law enforcement practice of using the methods of traditional complementary medicine in modern Russia”, organized by the State Duma Committee for Health Care (prepared by the deputy of the State Duma, Dr. Irina Irinchey Mathanov, who is the chairman of the expert council for the improvement of legislation in the field of complementary medicine). The meeting was conducted by the deputy of the State Duma, Ph.D., Honored Doctor of Russia Larisa Gennadievna Fecina. The importance of this event was underscored by the participation of the Press Secretary of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, the Director of the Department of Public Health and Communications Oleg Olegovich Salagai.
